Master Chief
Master Chief (John-117) is a Spartan-II supersoldier and the face of the Halo series. The green armor, the AI partner Cortana, and the underdog-against-long-odds campaigns made him one of the most recognizable figures in gaming — especially during the original Xbox era.
He barely talks, and that is deliberate. The silence leaves room for the player to inhabit the helmet; when Chief does speak, the lines tend to land because you are not drowning in monologue elsewhere.
