Capcom
Capcom is a Japanese publisher founded in 1979. It has repeatedly rebooted dormant brands in the same decade — the RE Engine era (roughly 2017 onward) refreshed Resident Evil, brought Devil May Cry 5, and supported Monster Hunter World scale while still nodding to arcade-rooted combat readability.
The publisher is also famous for never letting a dormant IP stay quiet for long: Mega Man spans multiple sub-series; Street Fighter has run since the late 1980s; Resident Evil alone has jumped fixed cameras, over-the-shoulder action, and first-person experiments without abandoning retail SKUs collectors still chase.
